Senior Professional Officer: Clinician

Tcoe Salary starting from: R870,029 to R1,314,364 per annum – Reference No: CS 43/22


  • Relevant BSc, BTech or BCur in Nursing
  • Registration with a professional regulatory body
  • Minimum of five (5) years of relevant experience including two (2) years in a supervisory position
  • Good physical shape.

Key performance areas:

  • Responsible for the delivery of clinical services, events and advanced level functions at both developmental and curative levels
  • Maintain and implement policies and practices by performing high-level and effective employee welfare and assistance activities
  • To provide regular and effective advanced level health and wellness services of a curative nature by providing a wide range of health and wellness information, education and awareness to employees
  • Provide specific and specialized advanced level interventions to address issues related to health and well-being
  • Build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, managers and service providers, and provide quality services in line with client needs
  • Handle advanced level and non-routine correspondence, inquiries or requests from operational departments regarding wellness events and actions
  • Provide research opportunities and monitor service effectiveness to stay abreast of new developments
  • Provide organizational management advice
  • Provide information management by coordinating and reporting trends within the organization and the community and the results of interventions
  • Coordinate, supervise and ensure effective utilization and development of paraprofessionals, students and interns.
