Natalie Egenolf joins the new Parx Interactive Digital Media division which includes Dei Lynam, Sam Wilson and other personalities, sports experts and former athletes, with many more to be announced.
Parx, one of the leading mobile casinos and sports betting in Pennsylvania, has announced that Natalie Egenolf has joined the Parx Interactive team as part of the launch of their new digital media division. Egenolf, who has successfully cultivated one of the most engaged audiences in sports and beyond in the Philadelphia marketplace, will contribute to Parx’s content creation strategy.
Parx also announced that Philadelphia-based Dei Lynam, who has covered the NBA for the past 25 years for Comcast Sportsnet, starting as a reporter and studio host for the 76ers and later as a pre and postgame analyst for the Sixers, also joined the team. In addition to Egenolf and Lynam, Parx also added Sam Wilson, who recently worked at 97.5 The Fanatic and currently hosts the “Down the Line with Charlie & Bo” television show on NBC Sports Philadelphia.
Parx sees the huge immediate and future opportunity surrounding the integration of sports content and sports betting.
âSports betting, sports content and digital media converge into one medium,â said senior vice president of Parx iGaming and Sports Matthew Cullen. âWe are excited to present and roll out this new digital media division, which will not only be sporty, but will also include lifestyle-focused content that people can experience around the Parx Interactive brand. We’re excited to have Natalie leading the effort as we launch this one-of-a-kind digital media division. Natalie’s proven history with her social media on the brand and her success in traditional media in this market made her the perfect fit to lead this new business.
âOver the past 24 months, the sports media landscape has changed. Sports betting has been integrated into daily sports content, âsaid Egenolf. âParx is the number one casino brand in the market and I have seen their growth and execution firsthand. After learning about their digital media strategy as well as their national deployment plans, I knew this was an opportunity where I could immediately contribute to take advantage of this growing market. It’s such a natural choice for me, as I will be producing sports-focused content, but I will also have creative autonomy. We will be rolling out daily sports content and lifestyle articles, as well as producing long-running digital content and original podcasts across all Parx platforms. We plan to educate, captivate and entertain our audiences, not just hitting viewers over their heads with betting odds. “
As part of the rollout of Parx’s media division, Parx will focus on a variety of content from a wide range of contributors to be announced soon.
âBuilding a strong team of contributors, who have established personalities in this market, is key to our success,â said Gil Bushkin, Senior Director of Parx Interactive Marketing. âWe are at such an exciting point as we rolled out our mobile bookmaker to Michigan at the end of last week and we believe this content model bringing together sports media and sports betting is essential to grow our brand well in the world. – beyond the Philadelphia market. “
