Gray TV buys Telemundo Atlanta and its sister company Surge Digital Media | News

ATLANTA (CBS46) – Atlanta-based Gray Television has purchased Capital Media Group, the parent company of Telemundo Atlanta (WKTB-CD), which has a reach of more than one million views in the Atlanta area.

The purchase also includes a sister company, Surge Digital Media, a full-service boutique digital agency that excels in multicultural and multilingual marketing and video production.

Gray also recently purchased Meredith Corp.’s television channels, which include CBS46 (WGCL-TV) and Peachtree TV (WPCH-TV). It is now one of the largest television channel owners in the country with stations in 113 markets.
